Circling Raven Golf Club and Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Earn National Acclaim

10th Anniversary Contest Grand Prize Winners Awarded

Circling Raven Golf Club - the masterful amenity of Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort in the Idaho panhandle -- has won distinction from Golfweek magazine in its just-released "2014 America's Best Resort Courses" list.

Flowing through 620 inspirational acres, the sinewy design by course architect Gene Bates has been a perpetual national award-winner since opening.

Golfweek dispatches hundreds of raters annually to grade courses in 10 areas, including conditioning, variety and hole memorability.

The list of esteemed courses appears online at www.golfweek.com and in Golfweek's 2014 "Ultimate Guide to Golf Course Living and Great Escapes" print publication.

Tribally owned and operated by the Coeur d'Alenes, Circling Raven also garnered elite-list status from Golf Digest earlier this year, placing in its biennial "America's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses 2013-2014" (out of more than 13,500).

"Because Circling Raven and Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort aspire to excellence, these critically bestowed honors affirm to our guests that we provide exceptional quality," said Director of Golf Tom Davidson, PGA, who previously collected PGA of America National "Merchandiser of the Year" accolades on behalf of the golf club.

Superlative service and recreational options abound at amenity-rich Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort, which ranked No. 1 on Spokane A-List's 2013 "Top 5 Casinos."

More than 200 guest rooms, shopping, the full service Spa Ssakwa'q'n, a fitness room, and an array of dining and drinking choices await resort visitors.
